The space Tranquil tones create a calming environment inside the open-concept interior of “Shore Beats Working”. Highlighted by ocean-inspired splashes of blue and coastal themed accents, the seaside atmosphere is present throughout. Plush furniture and state of the art electronics make the living room a comfortable place to stretch out and relax. Features like central air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a full size washer and dryer will provide the comforts of home. And, in the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find high-end stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and plenty of functional workspace. There’s ample seating for four at the dining table and the kitchen's breakfast bar which seats an additional three. Accessible via the living room and both bedrooms, the townhouse itself offers a covered terrace with a seating group — a great spot to relax at the end of the day. Beyond your private abode, the Scenic Highway 30A area offers an impressive array of amenities for dining, relaxation, wellness, and play. PLEASE NOTE: The kitchen, living and dining areas and both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second floor accessed via a private staircase located in the entryway from the single car garage or through the front door at the side of the home. Other things to note The smart home is featured with a doorbell camera on the entry doorway. On the entertainment unit in the family room is an Amazon Echo Show 5 which you can use to get the current weather conditions, catch up on the day's news, listen to a selection of complimentary music, or tune to your favorite podcast while relaxing from your adventures at the beach. Please be aware that the Echo 5 does feature a camera; however, we keep the hardware shutter closed at all times and do not have any of the video features configured.

In the great room you’ll find a cozy living area, elegant dining table and a gourmet kitchen with additional seating at the countertop bar. The bedrooms are furnished with luxurious simplicity, creating the perfect ambiance for restful serenity. Each bedroom is equipped with a wall-mounted flat screen television, complimentary high speed, wireless Internet and cable television service are provided throughout the home. The spacious master bedroom is equipped with a plush king bed situated below a picturesque vaulted ceiling. The ensuite bathroom features dual vanities and a shower tub combination. The inviting guest room soothes the soul with its comfy king bed nestled amongst an array of luxurious linens. You’ll make waves with the kids’ room which features two twin beds appointed with bedding decorated with a pod of whales complete with plush whale pillows — an absolutely perfect place for your children to relax after spending a fun-filled day frolicking on the white sandy shores of the spectacular beaches of the Emerald Coast! NOTE: This home is in close proximity to an ongoing construction projects. Construction on the lot behind the home started on August 17, 2023. Guest access Guests are able to access all areas of the home with the exception of the owner's closet in the laundry area and the outdoor storage shed. Other things to note We are glad you have reserved our vacation property to create your vacation memories. We have taken pride in preparing our vacation home to give you a pleasant and relaxing visit. Since you will be in our home we ask you treat it as your own. Please remember you are renting a privately owned vacation home which is somewhat different than staying in a hotel or motel. When you arrive, please expect to have one new roll of toilet paper and a travel size set of toiletries in each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap and replacement kitchen trash liners are in the kitchen. We do not provide enough of these mentioned supplies for your entire visit, but enough for you to arrive comfortably. All of the beds will be made fresh, towels are provided in each bathroom. We do not provide beach towels. Please note that this home is currently in close proximity to an ongoing construction project.

The space "Knot in Kansas" Cottage is a hidden gem, located on a quiet, secluded dead end street, affording plenty of privacy, yet still close to the beach, Camp Helen State Park and all the action on 30A. You will be a 6-minute walk to the Inlet Beach public beach access where you can experience saltwater activities on the Gulf and freshwater activities on Lake Powell (when crossing the boardwalk over the dunes there are several sets of stairs). If you prefer to avoid stairs you can easily walk to another Inlet Beach beach access close to the home within 8 minutes. As you cruise the area you’ll see beach cottages mixed with modern homes in this old-meets-new beach neighborhood. This home is a charming 3 bedroom (one king bed, one queen bed, one twin over full bunkbed), 1 bath (with a large zero-entry shower), single story cottage nestled on Park Place Avenue East on the south side of Inlet Beach. Affording ample space for guests to roam, this lovely vacation rental also features smart televisions in the living area, all bedrooms and the outddor screened porch, free Wi-Fi, full size washer and dryer and central HVAC. The kitchen is well appointed with stainless steel appliances and everything needed to whip up a quick snack or meal (including a pot filler over the stove). There is both a Keurig pod coffee maker and a 4-cup drip coffee maker to suit any kind of coffee lover. The screened porch houses a plush seating group, a table for four for alfresco dining and a gas fireplace to cozy up on a brisk night. Off the screened porch is a large open-air deck with an outdoor shower that has both hot and cold running water. Here, you’ll also find the propane gas grill for barbecues with family and friends. The large grassy yard that surrounds the home is perfect for playing outdoor games. There is even a basketball net for those that enjoy a game of hoops. Two adult cruiser bikes are available for guest use. This home does not have pool access. You can’t beat the proximity to numerous local shopping and dining options at 30 Avenues (1.1 miles), Rosemary Beach (1.3 miles), Seacrest (1.4 miles) and Alys Beaches (2 miles)! Camp Helen State Park, a favorite of locals and guests (0.8 mile from the home), is bordered on 3 sides by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. Coastal dune lakes are very rare worldwide — in the US they occur only along the Gulf Coast. Wildlife viewing is extremely popular, as the different water bodies have created a diverse habitat for wildlife that includes rare shorebirds and Bald Eagles. Camp Helen is a great fishing spot for both fresh and saltwater species (a FL fishing license is required). The park also provides numerous nature trails for hiking. Visit the lodge and relax in the rocking chairs overlooking Lake Powell, or head to the beach for swimming, beachcombing, tanning or boating. There is a $4 entrance fee per vehicle, $2 per pedestrian, collected using the honor system. The camp is open from 8am to sundown. At the end of the day, it’s not uncommon to see a few jeeps backed up onto the sand facing the ocean with folks enjoying some of the most beautiful sunsets you will see anywhere. But fear not, only a small number of permits are allocated to residents via an annual lottery so you won’t see many vehicles out there. At the rear of the house, is the master suite outfitted with a bed that is fit for a king, a flat screen Smart TV and a small ensuite bathroom. NOTE: This home has parking at the front for three small cars side by side or two SUVs side by side. No additional parking spots are available. Please do not move railroad ties at the right side of the home to park as there is a well located there that could get damaged. And fear not, if your dream beach vacation does NOT involve cooking, the home is situated in the heart of Grayton Beach so you are surrounded by fantastic restaurants. You are steps away from Chiringo which features spanish-style dishes served in a colorful, rustic-chic setting with outdoor seating & gulf views. Across the street from Chiringo is the renowned Red Bar which is expected to re-open summer 2020. For breakfast foodies, the HIbiscus Cafe is a seven minute walk up Defuniak Street. Walk another eight minutes and you’ll be able to enjoy Crackings or the Bad Ass Coffee Company! Enjoy a fantastic lunch or dinner at the Grayton Brewpub or AJ’s Grayton Beach. If you are in search of the perfect seafood dinner served up with a surfer vibe then walk on over to Grayton Seafood - a fishing shack-themed eatery.
