Overview


The Remedy is ideally situated adjacent to Scenic Highway 30A at the front of Seacrest Beach between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach and is the prescription for the perfect family beach vacation! You are a five minute walk away from sinking your toes in the frosty white sand or a three minute walk from the 12,000 sq ft Seacrest Lagoon which now features the Seacrest Café (seasonal hours). Plenty of shopping and dining amenities are located in the nearby communities.
The space
When looking for your next escape to the beautiful, sandy white beaches of the Emerald Coast; look no further than “The Remedy.” Situated along the east end of picturesque, Scenic Highway 30A in the community of Seacrest Beach, this stunning vacation home is the cure for the everyday blues! This spectacular four bedroom, four bathroom home is perfect for your extend family vacations as it features dual masters! Second and third story porches on both the front and back of the home make up over 1,400 sq feet of outdoor deck space and are great for enjoying your morning cup of coffee. The back porch on the third story features a well equipped outdoor kitchen, a large patio with ample seating and beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico!

The home is ideally situated adjacent to Scenic Highway 30A at the front of Seacrest Beach between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. You are a five minute walk away (1500ft) from sinking your toes in the frosty white sand. If you are not in the mood to walk, the Community of Seacrest Beach offers a comprehensive tram system will pick you up at the stop located outside your front door and drop you off at the walkway that takes you to the beach. If you need a break from the beach, but still want to enjoy some fun in the sun then head on over to the 12,000 square foot lagoon pool – the largest pool on 30A! While you're lounging by the pool, pick up something to eat and some ice cold beverages from the Seacrest Café!

After a fun day frolicking at the beach or in the lagoon pool, share a delicious meal with your family and friends at one of the many restaurants a short walk away. Each of the nearby communities of Alys Beach, The Village of South Walton, and Rosemary Beach feature a number of fantastic restaurants offering fare that will appeal to everyone's palate. After your meal, browse through the nearby shoppes to find the perfect remembrance for your favorite beach vacation!

At the end of the day, when you’re ready to recharge your batteries, “The Remedy” has just what you’ll need. The first floor master features a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a full size shower and bathtub. The first floor guest room is outfitted with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second floor bunk room features two twin over full bunk beds and two trundles and access to the second floor bathroom with a shower/tub combo. When you ascend to the third floor, you have the second master with access to the third floor bathroom that has a stand up shower. The third floor living space features a queen sleeper sofa.
Guest access
Guests are able to access all areas of the home with the exception of the owner's closet. We ask that you make yourself comfortable and be respectful of the home. Excessive trash within the home or damage to the home / the contents within will result in penalty fees being assessed.
Other things to note
We are glad you have reserved our vacation property to create your vacation memories. We have taken pride in preparing our vacation home to give you a pleasant and relaxing visit. Since you will be in our home we ask you treat it as your own. Please remember you are renting a privately owned vacation home which is somewhat different than staying in a hotel or motel. When you arrive, please expect to have one new roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a trash liner in each trash can, one roll of paper towels, hand soaps and a limited amount of dish soap. We do not provide enough of these mentioned supplies for your entire visit, but enough for you to arrive comfortably. All of the beds will be made fresh, (4) bath, (2) hand towels and (4) washcloths are provided in each bathroom. We do not provide beach towels.

*** Effective January 1, 2022 Seacrest Beach HOA has banned the use of non-owner golf carts, scooters and Mokes.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT RENT TO STUDENT GROUPS, AGE OF PRIMARY RENTER MUST BE 25 OR OLDER AND RESIDING IN PROPERTY DURING STAY.
1. Smoking is NOT allowed. Evidence of smoking in the unit after guest departure will be subject to an additional cleaning fee charged to the guest who the reservation is under.
2. People other than those noted in the booking may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3. All our properties are privately owned; property management and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. Property management and the homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises and recreational gear provided with the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. Bed linens and bath towels are included in the home. Please do not use rental houses linens at the beach or pool. Beach towels are not provided in the home.
7. Please know we do not rent to student groups or to guests under the age of 25. Guest whose name is on the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay.
8. This IS NOT a pet friendly property. Evidence of pets in the unit after guest departure will be subject to a $300 fee charged to the guest who the reservation is under.

 
*DEPARTURE CHECKLIST:
•  Empty refrigerator of all perishables. Remove all garbage from the home and take to exterior trash bins.
• Load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and begin the wash cycle (use dishwasher detergent).
•  Keep beds turned down that have been slept in.
• Place any used towels in bathtubs or shower stalls.
•  Turn off all lights and ceiling fans, turn thermostat to 65 degrees in colder seasons and 74 degrees in warmer seasons.
• Close & lock all windows and exterior doors.
•  Check out on time, no later than 10am CT firm. If you’re leaving prior to 10am CT please text 30A Sea Story at the number listed on your arrival details so the cleaning crew can enter the home. THANK YOU!
*Homes left in complete disarray will be subject to an additional cleaning fee. Listing sites will be provided with photographs.
